For as long as I remember, I have been always anxious about setting ambitious goals and showing extraordinary dedication in achieving them. It all started off in school where I was aimed at being the best in class, not only to make my parents proud, but more importantly to prove myself that there are no limits for improvement and I am capable of reaching the highest heights. When I entered King Abdul Aziz University I knew that I was opening a new chapter in my life, which is exciting, but yet demanding. During my university years, I distinguished myself as a young independent leader, showing consistency and passion in everything that I put my mind to. Although the list of my interests was impressively long, I was particularly keen on developing my skills and broaden the knowledge in the sphere of International Business Management. Where others students saw mainly downsides and were demotivated by encountering numerous obstacles on their way to obtaining a degree, I only saw excitement and opportunities. I was eagerly entering the lectures, reading countless number of academic sources, making my first research and seizing any chance to get some hands-on experience in a chosen field. I never gave up on trying to be the best among my peers and this continuous state of competition helped me to polish my personality and never lower the bar. This persistency became my main distinctive feature and helped me go above and beyond to exceed the highest expectations, when I got my first job.
All my efforts fully paid off the day I was accepted to the university in the USA. I was in the seventh heaven and felt that, indeed, there are no challenges that I can’t handle. Entering American university was the biggest dream I have ever had and the most turning point in my life. The main lesson learned there was that equality and diversity are the main drivers of progress and they should never be neglected in a modern society. I realized that those values are not only proclaimed, but also believed, shared and followed by the whole nation. Even though my home country is gradually making steps towards liberalization and elimination of gender inequality, I still believed that we have a lot of challenges to face, so we should smartly adopt and apply successful experience of the US in order to foster changes of making women equal in all spheres of life. My master’s course was a remarkable experience also because of the unique spirit of multicultural community I was constantly working in. I could spent hours in discussing and brainstorming the ideas for a project with my classmates, who were all different, with their own dreams and expectations, unique backgrounds and unlike approaches, but I sensed that we are all aspired to pursuing the same desire to succeed in what we were up to and make a change in our communities.
I got immensely enthusiastic about things that I can accomplish after everything that I had seen and all the people I met in the US and I would like to continue my education in this country. Therefore, I would be extremely proud to enter your university and to contribute to strengthening its image of a top-notch educational institution for talented youth. I believe I possess traits and skills that are essential for effective learner and will make me a valuable addition to the cohort of your students.
