The two advertisements are based on the use of women as figures or means of advertising products in the market in order to attract the attention of both women and men in buying the product. In the both advertisements, it is shown clearly that the women are used as the main channel of advertising cigarettes in the US. The potential and women who are renowned are used in the adverts in order to attract most buyers or customers in order to purchase the product being advertised in the advertisements. These advertisements portray the women using cigarette, and how it makes them feel good.in the first advert, it is clear that a man is smoking with a woman next to him. The advert targets the attention of both men and women in the market in order to get the good odor being advertised in the advertisement. The adverts appeals to the emotions of both men and women since both genders are shown on the first advertisement. The combination of men and women in the first advertisement played a very crucial role in ensuring that the aspects of market neutrality are covered and well taken care of so as to facilitate large market scope as well as reducing market bias based on gender differences.
The use of women in the advertisements has great power in the market because the attention of both men and women will be captured. The women will be attracted to buy the cigars in order to make them fresh so as to make their husbands or boyfriends happy by having such a good smell like advertised. This, therefore, helps in ensuring that the focus and attention of customers are captured in the most appropriate manner. The women will be attracted to buying the cigars in the name of freshness and good smell as advertised in the first advertisement. The notion of getting a fresh odor also makes men smoke this cigar in order to attract or make their women as close as possible to them. This encourages the bond between the men and women by using this cigar. These advertisements also use the close attachment between men and women in the society in order to capitalize on making profits and sales on this product.
The first advertisement shows how the cigar helps in attracting the women towards men. This advertisement appeals to the emotion of men in order to attract women especially the young ones who are in deep need of having ladies around them. The advertisement, therefore, targets the attention of the youngsters in buying the cigars in order to attract the attention of women in their day to day life activities. The importance of women and how the advertisement companies perceives them is well elaborated in this advertisement. The role of and influence of women on men is very high, therefore, making women appear in most of the advertisements in order to encourage large volumes of sales for most of the companies.
The image of women in the advertisement of tobacco is evident in both advertisements. This, therefore, helps to show us the notion or perspective of women in the U.S. Women are often used in the advertisement of products like tobacco to an extent that they appear as products in the market. Women are now an important component off the advertisements in order to fetch high levels of profits from the advertisements.
The advertisement of tobacco on the second advertisement appeals to the attention of women by showing that even the women working in the offices use tobacco or cigars. This advertisement has a great influence on many women to consume the product that is associated with high profile women. This acts as an incentive to the purchase of the product because the common people will want to associate themselves with the celebrities or people of high profile. The use of celebrities or high profile women on the advertisements is a very common practice in the U.S. The use of women in the advertisement of substances like tobacco tarnish or damage the reputation of women in the society. This, therefore, leads to a negative public image of women in the society.
