Apparently, Antonio Canaletto and Tim Hawkinson are two figures that are apparently influential and renowned for their exemplary works. Though these personalities have some things in common, it is imperative to denote the fact that they have differences that are essentially detached by their line of professionalism. With the above said this paper will compare and contrast these two figures by fundamentally focusing on artistically oriented works.
Antonio Canaletto is an Italian artist best known for his exemplary and designated landscape paintings (Uzanne 65). The artist during his time specifically focussed painting natural landscapes cultivate by his love for the surrounding nature. On the other hand, Tim Hawkinson is a renowned artist that makes apparent his themes by fundamentally creating or rather generating complex sculptures using simple and inconceivable means (Hawkinson et. al 45). In essence, this artist can utilize the use of plastic waste in making his sculptural designs.
In line with their artistic works, the two figures exemplify differing themes. In essence, Tim Hawkinson in his work epitomizes the theme of passing time, self-portraiture, music, as well as the artistic engagement with techniques materials and processes (Hawkinson et. al 77). On the contrary, Antonio Canaletto makes apparent the themes of outdoor experience and the beauty of nature (Uzanne 68).
Antonio Canaletto derived his desire and aspirations in painting subsequent to the fact that he was a son born to a renowned painter Bernardo Canal, who in essence provided a podium to his success noted till date. On the other hand, Tim Hawkinson desire and love for sculptural designs was motivated and driven by his deep intellectual knowledge or rather the aptitude to structure and develop sculptural systems.
