It is indeed true that the United States of America is becoming more and more unequal by the day. This is seen through the drastic drop of life expectancy levels. There has been a very significant decrease in health conditions of the American people. This is quite absurd because the irony of it all is that America is the wealthiest nation of the world and it is naturally expected that its people have the best and should boast as the healthiest (Truthout.org 2008).
The most worrying bit of this is that the disadvantaged people are the ones who experience this problem is seen in the disadvantaged populace. The rich on the other hand are the ones who seem to be on the better side of life as most of these problems don’t touch them, a clear indication that life favors them. This is a clear indication of the inequality that does exist in the United States of America.

Inequality in America is attributed to its philosophy of “Capitalism” whereby the wealthy are seen to be at the top of the economic map (StudyMode.com 2012). This happens to sideline the disadvantaged groups of people who have resigned to living that life because they have no way out. The lower class of people feel the heat when taxes rise and when the marginalized groups think that racialism disfavors them and that politics is not their thing.
