Nurse burnout refers to a state of diminished morale amongst nurses deployed to serve in an army setting. The environment under which these particular nurses work tends to create certain perceptions concerning their occupation as nurses. Moreover, it gives a negative rather than positive view concerning this particular occupation. This occurs due to the traditional modes of operation within the camps. The answers to the specified questions in the study appear below.
4a.The main objective of this study included investigating the impacts of certain environments on nurses and their motivation to work under such conditions. In such environments as displayed in the army, nurses tend to experience different perceptions concerning their profession. This occurs because of the conditions under which they operate. Moreover, most of the nurses who work in this kind of environment tend to possess a certain fixed perception about the profession.
One of the main reasons for the negative perception includes the fact that the nurses appear to handle severe cases of casualties brought to them after or during wars. The traditional methods and settings under which they treat these casualties include one of the main reasons for the negative perception of this profession.
b. This objective largely appears relevant to the study. It appears fundamental to identify the impacts of nurse burnout in the army settings since it possesses its influences on the nurses. In addition, it affects how the nurses operate and perceive their work as nurses. As such, it may lead to such nurses thinking that nursing appears entirely as a draining profession. These nurses also end up encountering psychological torture or trauma due to what they face in the course of work. They end up missing the enthusiasm to function in their profession to the best of their capabilities.
5b.The main study variables that appeared in this investigation included thorough research on previous and current sources. The sources from which the research occurred were both primary and secondary. However, most of the information appeared from interviews carried out on former and retired army nurses. The information retrieved helped a lot since from that, a real picture of the impacts on nurses appeared. Information from the web sites and journals also provided relevant information for this study.
6a.A specified design for the study appeared. This involved sampling of information derived from the different sources. This method appeared more relevant than the experimental one because it occurred less time consuming. It involved selecting only the relevant information from the sources available. This technique helped in getting the right information in the least time possible.
b. The design chosen for this study provided a good basis for the research. This occurred since it the results came within the time scope and covered a wider range of the topic of study. Thus, for its fast nature in retrieving results for the research, it appeared as the best design for carrying out this study.
It also appears crucial to note that this design provide a perfect basis for examining the objectives that occurred in this study. This appears evidently in the results that occurred in the research (Haplin, 2004).
c. The research carried out in this study possesses a vast intervention for the problem at hand. The nurse burnout in the army appears as an immense hindrance for the army nurses to perform their duties in the required way. This comes about due to the conditions under which they work. as such, this study provided a treatment or solution to this problem. Surveys that occurred in the U.S. Army derived the solutions to this problem. The solutions provided means and ways of reducing the impacts of nurse burnout in the army.
