For Hostile work environment, the problem arises as the junior employees feel that their effort is not appreciated. The junior employees blame the management for not including them in key decision in the organization. How did it develop?
Discrimination based on race:
Over the past three months, the junior employees have been complaining that all the top managerial positions are held by the Anglo-Saxon males. The junior employees also claim that the employees getting promotions are also Anglo-Saxon males. They claim that there is biasness as the management is discriminating against other ethnics groups in the community only favoring Anglo-Saxon males.
They also claim that any effort made by their representatives to complain of the discriminations have not borne any fruits. They claim the management is not taking responsibility and addressing the issue in the right way.
The Anglo-Saxon males appointed have been noted not to have the relevant the necessary professional skills and credentials to occupy the positions. They claim the management is allocating jobs to these males due to their ethnic group and not their relevant job qualifications as it supposed to be.
The managers employed also end up not performing their functions well. Any fresh ideas given to them by their juniors who are not of their ethnic group are usually ignored hence the reason as to why organization is not advancing.
Hostile work environment:
Also, many employees have come forward complaining that they feel left out in their workplaces due to fact that the managers do not want to involve them in the organization issues. This has created a rift between the management and the employees.
Considering the managers discriminate against their juniors employees, this results to the harsh relationship between them. The managers have decided not to associate with the junior employees creating the hostility in the workplace. As a result, the junior employees feel left out in the organization plans creating the rift.
