- If I was part of the audience, I would have responded to the presenters question by saying that the demonstration showed that alcohol was dangerous to the human body. The worm here would represent living beings and that the effect of alcohol on living things was to kill them. The demonstration would therefore mean that cells in the body disintegrated every time someone consumed alcohol.
- If I was the presenter, I would have avoided the ambiguity in the question by clearly stating what each part of the demonstration represented. In this case, the worm was not representing a worm but the living cells in the human body. Therefore the worm disintegrating in alcohol was how the cells in the human body disintegrated when someone took alcohol.
- The most significant lesson from the story is that people will always view things from their own perspective, and this will rarely be negative. Therefore, when talking to people about something negative in their behavior, it is important to point it out clearly and make them accept that it is negative before you can offer any help.

- The behavior I would like to change about me is smoking. This happens mostly in the company of my friends and leads to me conflicting with other people in my life who do not appreciate such behavior.
- One behavior that I successfully stopped doing is drinking alcohol excessively. I used to drink excessively and lose control of myself. This also used to happen in the company of friends who did not mind such behavior. I stopped when one day I was involved in an accident while going home and my friends were too drunk to help. From then on I avoided such friends and managed to kick the habit.
- When I got in the accident, my parents were called in the emergency room and when I had sobered up enough, they talked to me. They told me that I was headed in the path of destruction but I had a chance to change for the better before it was too late. They also suggested that I avoid friends who were not adding any value to my life.

- Distractions are a problem in the workplace. This is because many people are concerned with the outward appearance of people or what they do. For example, improper dressing in the workplace by one worker may distract other workers and prevent them from working to their best.
- People are usually moved by outward appearances. This is why a perfectly qualified person who may turn up for an interview may be turned down. This is also the reason why many people are victims of confidence tricks where they do not think a properly dressed person is a thief. They end up being cheated because they trusted the outward appearance.
- Distractions can be managed in a creative manner. This is done in various ways. Mostly, it is done using rules and regulations. For example, the workplace can have a dress code which every employee is expected to abide by. Schools also have uniforms for the same purpose.
Part 2:
Microsoft Corporation has changed its top management structure in order to better align itself with its objectives. Among the changes made have been the disbandment of some units while others have been joined. This will help transform the company into a services and devices provider and enable it to compete effectively in the market. This new shake-up will enable the company to provide better services across all its units. Dubbed as one Microsoft, the changes will focus on the company’s four main services; windows, office, server and cloud services, together with the x-box gaming device (Puget Sound Business Journal, 2013).
