This is a company that works independently from all restaurants and will bring you the food or meal you would like to have wherever you are. The restrictions of the delivery are edibles alone therefore it does not deliver parcels and goods other than food, drinks and beverages.
Many people in the country have different chronic diseases that have them in different diets to maintain a healthy life. This makes them dependent on particular meals or drinks at a certain point in time (Shepherd, 2013). Examples of these diseases include diabetes, ulcers, and eating disorders. An estimation of one million males in the United Kingdom alone has digestive disorders (Great Britain, 2001). The eating of other meals that are not meant at the right time may increase the chances of getting worse (Minocha, 2003).
The main target market for our service is the society for each person will need to eat. Then it is best to remember that the main target is the individuals that need their meals at a particular time and cannot get to them. It is best to remember and not deny the fact that in the market there are other delivery companies and to make it worse some are those associated to the different hotels and restaurants. These are fixed to their various hotels and restaurants and to get a customized meal like the one you get from home will cost you a lot more. They do not as well deliver foods and drinks from their competitors and therefore our consumers and customers are the ones that are going at a loss. Because this is a service that is not tangible, marketing would be the foremost step. The first thing would be to create awareness about the service and the reason why it would be the better option. The other key asset is to work well so that the people who get to use the service will always be willing to work with us repeatedly. After working with the friends and family, then the company will present its services to the numerous hotels and services that may or may not be having the service for themselves thus they can communicate this to all their customers. The use of the hotels will open the market further. The long-term plan is to be able to distribute the meals and drinks to anyone from whichever continent that they would like it coming from.
The potential size of the market as at this time is very large. Not to be happy but the number of people that have specialized diets in the United Kingdom is very large, one million males alone to start with is a very large number. This means that they market base that the company is working with is very large. The prices of the service will vary for the distances of delivery will as well differ but within the central business district, the charges will be fair. From the analysis that was done, 80% of the population around support the new service and are willing to pay the stipulated price.
Overall business idea
The initial cost would be to set up a location for all the locomotives that would be doing the delivery and that would cost at least £15,000. The money will be used to set up the location and hire the vehicles and motorcycles that will be used to make the deliveries. This is the most expensive bit for it will be costing us 4,500 every month so over time the company will get its own. It will take two financial years for the delivery company to be able to break even. After this time, the company will be able to finance itself. If thing go wrong then the as a company, we will loss close to 10,000 for that was the amount of money used to start the company.
