Proposal on wireless technologies in my organization
The most suitable wireless technologies that I could recommend for use are WiFi and Bluetooth technologies. This is because they are easier and also cheap to use. Hedy Lamar, an Australian and also American lady saw the invention of spectrum communications, whose results are being enjoyed by the contemporary society in form of WiFi and the Bluetooth technologies. These have since been qualified as the most user friendly and cheap wireless technologies so far. However, the reliability of these two technologies is still under test and yet to be verified. It’s also true that these technologies may not be so effective in transfer of bulky documents and data.
With the improvements in technology, mobile devices are being equipped with wireless systems and applications like the GPS. Research also indicates that networking is moving towards wireless systems as days go by and technology advances. This is enough reason for network experts to carry out studies that could lead to solutions to the challenges experienced in wireless networking. Maximum protection should be ensured if confidentiality is to be achieved and downtime issues eliminated. Risk assessment should be given an upper hand in the computing world.
There are so many reasons that cause threats to adoption and use of wireless technologies in organizations in enhancement of the daily activities. Key to these is the authentication challenges where the systems are prone to access by people not authorized to access. There is also the issue of encryption challenges in securing the sensitive data from manipulation an exposure. With the changing trends in the computing world, use of applications that were originally designed for other areas of specializations and integration of so many diverse technologies are upcoming challenges. Incompetent users of the wireless networks are also significant contributors to the security challenges facing the wireless technologies and mobile devices.
