Management
Spartan has been in the field of manufacturing ‘Heat Exchanger Equipments’ for many years. Gradually, many new companies emerged in the field that increased the competition. The main competitors belonged to Korea and Europe, who specialized in the manufacturing lines and delivery time. Spartan should adopt new technology and improve the production line to cause the lesser wastage of material and ensure more efficient production lines through manual working.
The inventory records of the company had discrepancies, and there were always complaints from the manufacturing unit regarding the shortage of raw material. Inventory entries related to available raw material were usually made manually at the end of the year. The company should maintain records online, and the manufacturing department must be informed about the available raw material. The coordination between the manufacturing and buying department is important in order to reduce the delays and losses in the production line. In addition, the company must buy only that raw material that would be required by the manufacturing department.
A company must focus on the customers due to the increasing awareness of people about the latest developments in the field of technology. The main customers of the company are large manufacturing units of different products who use their parts in their products. The company has made a new strategy to reduce the delivery time and the quality of the product. The company should adopt the changing trends globally particularly related to customer’s behaviors towards their products. The company has qualified staff, facilities and experience which provide them an edge over competitors in the market. Only a few basic changes in different units especially in the manufacturing unit can give long term benefits to the company.
