The situation: patience response and observation. The patient’s name Jamie Lynn of any 19; students doing personal training in a diploma programme a full time program. She was admitted on her arrival vie emergency department at 22230 hrs. yesterday The situation concerns the patient name above complaining of lower abdominal pain.On the day I encountered and interacted with the patient was when I was assigned to heron the day shift since she was admitted to my acute medical unit on 0600 hrs. Today for observation and investigation concerning appendicitis , since on her arrivals the radiological department being committed , the patient got did not receive attention that is when the patient was in severe pain. I recorded the observations immediately as follows, vitals: 38.9 124 26 BP 145/70 SPO2 AT 97%.Pain: 8/10 showing the acuteness of pain on the right side of the lower abdomen. I took measures to follow upon the situation by notifying RN at 0745 I contact Dr, Williams who orders a pain control and opts to see the patient at 1000hrs, the IV solution was changed to D5W to run at v 100 cc/hr. I planned for the radiology b discussion and ask Dr amouz-kant for a diagnostic test and communicated theme same to the patient’s mother.

A: The patient screams do not touch me during palpitation and she highly guards her abdomen. She is sweating, sweating, anxious and constantly moves in bed while intravenous line has to be wrapped in her arms many times.
R: Attending to the bell rings from her room and wrapping intravenous line around her arm and regular dressing of intravenous. Ensuring that Jamie's intravenous catheter is in situ and change the dressing to secure it. You change the IV to run the new solution.
