Kania and Davis maintain that the criminal justice system is jointed. I agree with this assertion. This is because the criminal justice is structured in such a way that roles can be delegated both from a bottom up and also top down manner. This information is accurate because high judicial organization ace lower institutions. This jointed process enhances the process of justice administration by making sure that judicial reviews are conducted on judicial matters that are of concern. I have not experienced the conflicting requirements in my position. I find this interconnectedness effective.
Private litigation for example has established wide markets in law. Unlike public legal institutions, private law enforcements provide quality services because they are centered on profit generation. In addition private policing and private legal consultancy is another rapidly growing sector in law enforcement (Kania and Davis, 2012, p.37). Private management and organization utilizes various avenues to expand a consumer base which includes marketing such as advertising and hence the high growth rate in the sector.
The theme of interconnectedness is reflected in the types of prosecutors and defense attorneys that are explained in Blumberg (1979) model. Attorney general Eric Holder is a good example. He is responsible for overseeing the judicial processes in other lower judicial institutions. Simmons (2007) provides a good example of the high growth rate of private institutions that specialize in criminal justices. Some of the key institutions that this article addresses include institutions of restorative justice and private policing. It is apparent from this article that private institutions have better management practices in place, which allows the institutions to employ market strategies that increase the consumer base of these institutions. However, Simmons is quick to note that private criminal justice organizations are still at their infancy (Simmons, 2007, p.911). He argues that institutions are yet to favorably compete with public institutions of criminal justice.
