Free Chocolate Chip Cookies Essay Sample

I love cooking and baking. However, I did not believe that I would be so flustered cooking for a 3-year-old. One day as I was lying freely on my couch in the afternoon, my friend came by and dropped off her 3-year-old son. She had to go attend an urgent meeting and needed someone to take care of him. Of course I could not say no. I was also informed at he has the habit of having an afternoon snack at 16:00.
Having a Chinese background, I do not have much experience dealing with children. We do not have siblings. Therefore, I was completely blank as to what to give the child to snack on. A quick scan of the refrigerator did not reveal anything appealing to a child. However, I remembered that I had the ingredients to make chocolate chip cookies. In addition, what child does not love chocolate!
I made basic chocolate chip cookies with the simple ingredients of flour, butter, chocolate chips, and sugar. The smell of freshly baked cookies filled the whole kitchen. The cute big blue-eyed child sat patiently waiting for his cookies to be baked. However, even after they came out of the oven, he had to wait for a few minutes to help the cookies cool down. They were visually very appetizing. The chocolate chips were soft and oozing. Andy could not wait to get his hands on them.
Once he got a chance to devour the warm chocolate-oozing cookies, it was hard for him to stop. He ate a handful of them, spilling chunks of cookie crumb over the kitchen counter. It was such a satisfying sight. I felt nice being able to satisfy the taste buds of a 3 year old. As we, all know that children are very innocent and their opinions are always non-biased.
