The major approaches to communication are formal and informal communication, top-down communication, horizontal communication and diagonal communication. Each form of communication tries to explain different ways through which communication can be achieved in an organization. Formal and informal, and top -down communication sets guidelines with which communication can be achieved within the right channels. Horizontal and diagonal communication tries to show ways through which employees of different departments and of the same level can communicate.

This refers to the ways through which an organization or a society can co-ordinate in order to achieve the specific goals and objectives. With effective communication in organizations, individual creativity can be achieved as per the chapter. Individual creativity is a result of the management providing effective grounds for the development of the employees. Organizational constraints arise due to issues which emerge and remain unsolved in the organization. Its sources include: performance evaluation, the reward systems, rules and regulations, historical precedents and time constraints.

The use of strategic ambiguity may at times result in different translations to given statements in the workplace. As people are different, information passed from one department to another may be interpreted differently by the employees leading to communication breakdown.

Dialogue is communication involving between two or more parties in which both parties participate fully. There are four types of dialogues which include: modulated dialogue; directed dialogue; misdirected dialogue and interpolated dialogue. Modulated and directed dialogues are the most important dialogues to the organization. These two types of dialogues involve communication between employees to be regulated and directed to the right parties.

Communication in the university is completely diverse with different ways through which the different students end up using when communicating. Students of social sciences and natural science do have different modes of communication. It can be noted that students of natural science tend to follow rules strictly hence tend to be more detailed in their communication unlike those of social sciences.

One Behave most mindful when communicating when communicating in front of a formal gathering. This means that communication tend to varies with the levels of supremacy and the environment in which one is. At one point when presenting my research to the class, there was need to be mindful of the communication method used as it was a formal gathering.

The means through which communication in an organization has been installed will determine the working integrity of the organization. This means that communication in organization should always be regulated so as to ensure that the ethical standards of the organization are maintained.

Communication in organization is a critical part of an organization that great concern should be placed on. Communication in organizations takes place in many forms including top-down communication, horizontal communication, informal and formal communication. These various forms of communication enable the organization be in a position to achieve good communication among its employees.
Effective organizational communication should be emphasized in all firms. In order for employees to carry out their task well, their need to be effective communication between the managers, between the employees and between the employees and the managers. This means that through communication, employees can develop as they are in a position to air out their ideas and participate in the development of the company.
Communication involves the dialogue between two or more parties. Dialogues enable people to be in a better position to understand the other. This means that for effective communication to exist in firms, there need to be effective dialogue between the various parties concerned.
It can be seen that communication varies from place to place. Different people have different ways through which they can air out their views. Some people can be seen to be more detailed and specific as opposed to others. Others can be seen to be good at listening and following instructions to the later unlike others. When communicating, there are circumstances that one may tend to be more mindful. Such circumstances include when one is in front and important person or in front of a crowd. This means that there exist different ways through which communication tends to vary depending with the environment and the situation.
