Final Plan and Presentation
Abstract
Early childhood requires close attention for a healthy and good up bring of a child. It ensures the child is free from harmful objects and infections as they are taken care of by qualified personnel. The introduction of childcare facility aims to help children to go through their childhood under intensive care. Project control plan tend to provide a standard and high quality facility. The policy set from the authority and consent from the stakeholders is the basis of the plan and are employed. Upon completion, facility will is targeted to serve 97 children daily of different ages up to a maximum of five years.
Introduction
Childcare facility project is an idea that requires more attention especially on the operations that are directly affecting the life in the tender age. More and extra care is required in ensuring the operations are in line with the purpose of the facility . The management has a role of ensuring the facility has attained the entire requirements that are in place for the good will of the child welfare. Day to day activities is monitored and controlled in a manner of adhering to the rules and regulation that are set by the county, state or the federal laws.
The reports and the control mechanism that the project manager should employ are in regard of the licensing requirements. The properties and building are supposed be less hazardous to the life of the children . This helps in meeting the health and safety standard that are set for facilities such as the childcare. The management should be in a position of ensuring the number of the children that are expected should be maintained. The project should have the capacity enough for the number to prevent overcrowding.
The performance measurement of the project is shown by the percentage and the stage in regard to the completeness. The management has the responsibility of ensuring the project is done in time schedule to maintain the objective of the stakeholders. The variables that should be measured are the level of the development and the standard of the facility. Effectiveness and their efficiency help in defining the quality of the facility . The other variable is the duration in respect to the time the project was anticipated to have it completed. Time and the construction should be in line with the Gantt chart hence guiding the project manager.
Having the full knowledge of the project, the manager has to communicate to other stakeholders of the facility. The communication concerns the level of development and the budget analysis. The cost of the facility is a major and core reference as the project depends with the donors. A report on the expenditure is presented to the donors to facilitate the completion . The performance results, analysis of the schedule variance and the budget forecasts are the reports that are presented to the management in time. The project manager also has to give a recommendation concerning the expectation of the project and how the forecasted budget will be utilized.
Project closeout plan
The childcare facility following the plans of the operation manager has the qualities that it takes in the response to the requirements. The policy set from the authority as the stakeholders should be employed. In regard to the number of the children required to attend, the facility daily is also maintained . Monitoring the progress of the facility to ensure the safety of the workers and the children are maintained are in the control measures. The project manager has the overall power to ensure the project is safe to the user . The response from the local authority should be sought as well. The qualification of the care takes and other staffs should also be adhered to for the facility requires competent workers.
Conclusion
The facility operating on a daily basis and receiving 97 children has to meet and adhere to the safety and health care rules. At this tender age of six weeks and five years requires close attention of the children. This will contribute to the parents as the customers to have confidence with the institution.
