Securitas Company is a security company based in the United States of America. Securitas joined the USA market in 1999 and at that; time cemented its position in the industry since then. At that time, it became the leading in the world covering most of the whole of Europe and it was then that the company was penetrating the USA market by acquiring another company in the region called Pinkerton. Pinkerton was another defense agency that had been existing in the USA from the 1850. Allan Pinkerton founded it. Securitas also in 2000 made another bold step in acquiring another security firm in the USA called Burns international that made the firm gain more ground (Joan, 2011).
The security company boasts for over more than 650 branches worldwide and over 90000 security persons that offer security services that meet the market demands, which is to grow the business of the people being protected by the security firm around the world (Plunked, 2008).
The main aim of the security company Securitas is to provide the categories of specialized guarding that ranges from providing cooperate risk management plans and schemes, mobile security services, remote guarding .
Securitas offer security services in the following fields that have been listed below. They include the hospitality security, public transport security specialty services among other form of security services that are aimed at providing a good platform for businesses to develop.
The company can be rated from the many awards that it has been winning when it comes to providing a secure and safe environment, which is in line with its mission, to protect homes, workplaces, and communities by providing the security they need to protect their assets, safeguard their people, and maintain their ability to generate profits (Dempsey, 2010).
