Part 1 Visual aid showing annual sales for different stores
Misleading sales
The sales made by Departmental stores with DIY departments are extremely high and seems much exaggerated as compared to national Franchise store and big box. There is little correlation of sales from stores of different types. It is expected that an analysis on one country should also correlate with another. This contradicts the assertions in France and may not be true representation of the actual sales in the US.
Part2
The first approach may be considered more of being characteristic of the company’s executives as compared to the second. The consolidation decision would involve the holding with little external influence as opposed to the second which is indeed short of description as the buyer is still unknown. This second decision is therefore not more of the companies’ executive but would involve a variety of multiple external organs. The first decision was more consultative baring in mind the frameworks of being descriptive .With regard to a naturalistic framework , the decision, the first approach involves consolidation of experience within the holding and thus remains the most executive in nature. Other frameworks also point to the same reasoning. With regard to be normative, for example, the decision can be considered best using information available. If the two decisions are compared, the first presents a more informed approach.
Who to consult
The consultation process would be best if it involved managers, professionals, customers and service providers. In order to rich consensus it would be prudent to consult a number of personnel. All executive managers from numerous decisions should give their views. IT professionals would be the most appropriate people to consult in order to explain the efficiency of a consolidated system.
Cognitive style of problem solving
The most appropriate style for this problem solving would be to hold consultative discussions where professional data would be placed and analyzed.
Creative approach to analysis
Comparative view would be the most suitable approach of analysis. This would include analysis advantages, and disadvantages each option.
