1.0 Background
During the course, I have taken time to reflect to my strengths and weaknesses in regard to developing my career in management. As such, the self-reflection led to the realization of distinct personal strengths and weaknesses as follows.
2.0 Reflection on Strengths
Proficient Time Management
Having tracked my performance in terms of time management, I can confidently assert that I am a good time manager. I am always keen to observe time to an extent that I have made many achievements both in class and daily life. Importantly, this attribute helps to ensure that all set objectives are achieved and within the stipulated deadline.
An Efficient Team Player
Besides time management, I am also a good team player since I appreciate diversity. Indeed, this is based on the understanding that people have different capabilities, cultural believes, and managerial orientations. As a result, I am able to allocate roles in accordance to these attributes. Being a team player has actually helped to create a vast network both at school and outsides.
Critical Thinker
In the course of my reflection, I noted my tendency to view issues logically. This can be attributed to my problem solving capabilities both in public and personal life. Understandably, critical thinking and problem solving are crucial requirements when it comes to management.
Weaknesses
Slightly Unable to Work Under Pressure
Although I meet deadlines, I noted that when I am assigned task with very tight schedules, the output is usually very low. As such, I consider this aspect as weakness because most of the managerial functions are characterized by complexity.
Poor Multitasking Capabilities
In most cases, I am not able to perform multiple tasks at the same time. In case I do this, the output on the tasks will be of low quality.
