According to the Communist manifesto the happenings in the future is mainly influenced by what happens in the present. Specters are things that are dead and this can be evidenced from the situations brought forth by Derrida in the Communist Manifesto (Bartlett 62). Spectrality can be a haunting phenomenon in that it can spur an individual into action mostly on the political aspect. For instance, Marx came to identify that communism should be considered dead like a specter in order to replace it with what was considered to be a living communism. This shows that this specter from the past is bent towards bringing improvement in the present through acknowledging the presence of a specter in the present for the good of humanity. The demonic manifestations in the book of revelations can haunt the present through a few of the signs and occurrences that are believed to have some kind of relationship with the manifestations talked about in the book of revelations. Therefore, these manifestations although not fully embodied can lead people to associate various things with false spirits and have strange visions.
Postpartum depression is defined as clinical depression that usually affects women just after birth and it is believed to be rare in men. In most cases it occurs within the first the three months after a woman has given birth. The depression might affect both the woman and her child. Some of the issues causing violence include alcoholism, murders, school shooters, sexual predators and unfit parents as well as self-effacers. The actions of such people may trigger violence and victims are usually the children who end up depressed. In the book, Carr tries to explain to the children on the effects of violence as well as providing some solutions to such problems. This is revealed in the poem where a man confesses that he is attracted to children. The author exhibits some sort of intimacy going on between the main and children which might result to either sexual predators or rape issues. The move may bring in signs of weakness which in return perpetuate violence among children.
The fact that there is easy access to guns is shown by the fact that there is so much violence in the poems talked about in the 100 notes. For instance, there are incidences of murder in the small town shown from the portraits as well as cases of international terrorism. There is a high number of teen rate of depression as the poems show that the teenagers feel that they have been destroyed and even implicated thus they are unaware of their circumstances and therefore their life is more like a riddle.
