Management Information Systems (MIS) have become an integral part of modern business world. Almost every organization these days use one system or the another. This outline is going to discuss the management system that can be used in a “University” or any other educational institution.
It is a common place to find a learning management system in a university. It is done to improve the class management in a university. A student can directly see his results, lectures and exams details on a system. Similarly, the university can see if the student has paid the fee on time, his academic performance and his learning curve.
It is like an ERP we studied in the class, it helps the university to make decision about its resources and streamline its operation and loss making functions, and at the same time it also decides how to deal with students who are not meeting the expected criteria, or not performing well enough to be a part of the university.
