Free Critical Thinking On Foster Care System

1. Foster care system exists many years and became one of the most acceptable solutions for children that are deprived of care of their parents for different reasons. But why is it so important? What obstacles may there be on the way of children becoming a part of the foster care family and how they can be overcame? And finally, is foster care system in the US developed to a proper level or there is still space for improvement and reconsideration? These problems will be considered further in the paper.
2. Children are the most vulnerable part of any society. Because they cannot stand for themselves and protect themselves properly, their rights should be entrusted to an official institution that will take care of their future until they are grown up. This official institution should substitute the care that they cannot have from their biological parents for a wide range of potential reasons. Therefore, foster care system is one of the most important social institutions in the modern society of every country. The main purpose of its existence should be providing the same possibilities and opportunities for these children that can be provided for all other children in regular families.
3. The future of any society depends on the successful raising of the children, both growing up in normal families with biological parents providing care for them, as well as for the children who are deprived of such a benefit and entrust their lives into the power of the governing bodies. It is very important to ensure the equality of rights given to both groups of children. In this paper the options for resolving this problem will be suggested and evaluated.
