REPLY 1: LR
Any tenet of research activity always poses a challenge to the researcher regarding data collection, consolidation and harmonizing the findings available for a report or publication. However, some aspects or types of research prove even more challenging. In my research, the topic was STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics), the much projected smooth transition from topic development to the research stage was constantly obscured and slowed down by the nature of the research data available against the objective in mind. Similarly, the replies encountered hurdles in obtaining the necessary data as a result of information shortage and some being outdated. It is advisable that when conducting research, one should focus on the available sources and relate them to the study. The study should focus on journals and or articles focusing on the same sphere whether they are outdated or geographically indifferent. It is critical and paramount that the researcher in question focus on continuously open and peer reviewed journals and articles since they contain relevant projective insight on the topics. For the replies, the researcher may want to consider journals such as “Adolescent Well-Being in Washington State Military Families” or “Evaluation of a Family-Cantered Prevention Intervention for Military Children and Families Facing Wartime Deployments” and “Resilience interventions.”
REPLY 2
According to the replies, the researcher faces the hurdle of finding any research materials and publication that definitively illuminates of the particular area of interest to the researcher. According to t the replies 2, the researcher, there are no direct research findings and reports on giftedness in comorbidity and autism. Additionally, the researcher encounters children having varying low levels of IQ. Similarly, in my research, I encountered journal articles and publications that were too general and shallow. Most did not conclusively and definitively address the STEM areas of teaching and their concrete connection to student retention in schools. Additionally, the researcher also addresses the issue of reduction in the psychological and mental state due to autism and giftedness in children. Similarly, in my research, there was a reduction in psychological and mental capabilities in class and the life of the student as a result of an entirely different causal agent, motivation, and teacher guidance. The researcher in the replies may need to expand the research to more scholarly journals and publications such as “American Journal of Public Health.”
