Culture change and relations among communities
The article argues that the culture of different communities differs across the world. This is true given the fact that communities have unique origin, which gives them different culture. I also believe this statement is valid basing on the beliefs of the communities, and there is no way these communities can have a similar culture. Moreover, culture has always been an important element in the society and this is the reason every community struggles to keep their culture. There are situations where two or more culture mingles and they end up sharing lot of things in terms of beliefs ac cultures. As a result, these communities have high chances of learning the culture on one another. This is the reason I concur with the argument of that author that for a community to learn about the culture of the other community, it must be persistence. This is due to the fact that some cultures are complicated and it takes more time to be conversant with the culture.
Through this process, the communities start to change at an individual level. Initially, I was not sure what the author meant by this, until I thought about it critically. What the author meant was that when the communities come together and share culture, these individuals in such communities also start adopting the culture of other community and this is where change commences. Although, community differences can be explained in terms of the different origins of these communities, it also plays an important role to the communities. The difference in culture allows the rest of the society to have a learning platform. I like the argument that the author has presented here, and it is true once the communities realizes that they have different culture, they will all be willing to learn about the culture of the other community.
