The following document provides statistics regarding the schools and students in the Clayton district, which is situated in the New York City. There are twenty schools taken together in this district, five of which are pre-schools, and the number of middle schools is three, while two of the said number comprises of high schools. These co-curricular activities provide the students with relief from the schoolwork; increase their interaction with their fellow schoolmates, and provides them with opportunities to indulge in various sports. The captain elementary school provides the students with a selection of activities and different facilities like the kids zone, and encourages participation in diverse clubs like the gym club, the homework clubs and organizes a range of other activities to indulge the students. In doing so, school provides the students with means to grow in every way possible and to explore their talents and find better use for them.
The Captain elementary school also affords the parents a prospect for instituting an interactive liaison with the school. The PTO (Parent teacher Organization) is one of the various activities that aids in the conquest and gives the parents an opportunity to interact with the teachers and become part of the schools’ activities. This program lends the parents a chance to understand the school and its curriculum. The PTOs are arranged each month and organize events like science fair, Book fair, Black history night, end-of-the-year picnic, and the art show. This way, the parents can actively participate in grooming their child and contribute to their better future. The PTOs also build in the students and the parents alike, a sense of community and association and opportunities to share ideas with one another.
