Communication in the agency
A public agency is an organization that provides services to the public. The matters essential to the agency that I plan to work for are offered to allow for interaction (Kehoe, 2011). Communication helps in joining that agency and its customers. In the development of the organization structure for that agency, communication channels are important and hence need attention and consideration. In the organizational structure, the manager is one who acts as the link of the communication chain. Therefore, he coordinates and controls the communication channels. The decisions and directions from the manager flow from higher to lower level in the organization.
Efficient communication in the agency
Communication in the public agency is supposed to aim at attracting the people that are potential customers and maintain the regular customers (Dover, 1959). There are several things that the agency considers in its communication. To begin with, communication is in a way that earns trust and credibility from the public. This is through open, compassionate and respectful communication. This makes the customers be satisfied and though that the performance of the company improves. Secondly, it provides customers with the opportunity to be involved in matters of the company. This is done by requesting for their suggestion. Hence, it helps the public to understand the products of the company. Finally, it promotes the collaboration with the public and the company through informing and updating them. Company's website and social media are used to keep the customers, and the public informed.
