The doctrine of incarnation means that God became a human being through Jesus. This can be interpreted as the fact that God was able to reveal Himself to the Human race as a Human being as Jesus.
The Nicaea creed makes clear the aspect of Incarnation of Jesus Christ. In one part of the creed, the Creed acknowledges the fact that there is one Lord Jesus Christ. This makes it clear that there is one sovereign being. On the other hand, the creed also makes it clear that it is the same lord who became human and suffered for the transgressions of human beings. In the creed, one lord Jesus Christ is given both human and divine attributes. Human attributes include suffering while the divine attributes include the acknowledgement that it is through him that all things came to be.
In regards to the trinity doctrine, the father is compared to mind, the son compared to the mind’s knowledge of its existence and the Holy Spirit compared to the mind’s love for itself. Due to god’s love for his creation he sent his only son so that his creation may be saved. His creation is the humans. The fact that we are created in his image and likeness sheds a light to the doctrine of the trinity. This is how the aspect of mind comes in to suit the doctrine of the trinity.
