The nature of the course, teaching approaches, and materials are the essential things in achieving a successful business life. Education is a groundwork that works with the evidence-based programs that focus on training individuals on business innovation (Summit Consulting, LLC). The implementation of reliable public policies promotes and supports the economic growth. However, inadequate information on business innovation and inadequate preparation to have the effective utilization of the resources can delay the economic growth. As such, business education and training are the best ways to enhance the skills and knowledge of the individuals on the appropriate business ideas (Dinya). Therefore, lifelong education or training is part of the characteristics of a better and a stronger leader in the business. Evidently, business education remains educative to even the most experienced scholars in other academic fields (Udo). The business course training is wide and contains a number of options that are helpful to the wide range of skills that people require executing business roles. Therefore, the business learners should be timely to ensure they obtain the relevant opportunities and skills which would be relevant for success in business (Metcalfe).
The choice of education or training depends on an individual’s desire in business profession and the duration of the training. Thus, it is important to decide on the relevant educational resources to offer successful business plans. It is also significant to obtain a higher education like obtaining a Masters in Business Administration. The MBA should be a standard target for all individuals in business (Yeaple). Reaching highest positions in organizations to become managers and other executives requires high-level of education. Individuals with a high level of training have access to ways and unique ideas of solving problems in a professional manner. Also, education is helpful in the preparation of future entrepreneurs and mentors as they are highly needed for business success. Education gives platform for the use of the most modern business techniques and practical tools that would be helpful in the development and access to a number of resources. Education is a gradual success to the improvement of business skills and strategies.
Importance of Education
The business education is important in the business world as it helps businesses to grow regarding information and other resources. Successful education calls for proper knowledge on the management of teaching skills so as to define the best techniques for specific students (Arasti et al). The choice of techniques and approaches in teaching business depends on the objectives, contents and limitations of the subject as per a given institution. The business course has improved over time in a number of ways affecting the execution of business worldwide. The changes are as a result of the interest of the people globally towards business education and the enhancement of business skills (Bosire and Etyang). Currently, people are highly interested in the enhancement of business education as it has become a major requirement in the business world.
Results of Education
The true measure of the obtained business education is the success in business. One of the strengths of the business education is the development of the competencies for the effective business practice after school (Bosire and Etyang). Education greatly affects the business life of an individual depending on the kind training that an individual undergoes, especially in regard to the competencies acquired in the business school. The business knowledge and skills are critical elements in sustainable job creation and the development of the entire economy.
Business education and skills obtained from the training are significant factors in the capability of the individuals in the willingness to create effective and successful businesses in the community. The overall concepts, identify and utilize the opportunities by accessing the relevant information and knowledge that link to the awareness and interest of the public (Bosire and Etyang 8). The level of education determines its success or failure. The level of knowledge equally depends on the level of training that the individual undergoes in line with the course.
The school influences the development of knowledge and skills for business practices in a number of ways. The highly educated and well-trained individuals venture in business. Thus, entrepreneurship is a human resource that contributes to the development process of businesses that are recognized and are acknowledged by the majority. Entrepreneurship focuses on training individuals on the most profound business strategies to ensure success (Bosire and Etyang 13). The higher the education in the line of business, the better the business practices for the individuals. It is evident that education widens the business cope for the trained individuals. Techniques of Education and Training
Training is a systematic way to improving the knowledge, skills, and behaviors of the employees. Training is highly effective to the novice, professionals, and the entire system. Training enhances performance for individuals in different fields (Zadeh and Zadeh). In addition, the improvement of the performance in the organization is an asset and serves as a capital investment for business continuity. Well-trained employees are major investments for a company that wishes to succeed in a certain way. The employees should be exposed to the right business education during the training to ensure they obtain the most competent business skills. The individuals must be trained on how to achieve better business skills. However, the training involves massive investments in terms of time and finances. Necessarily, the plans and activities for the training should focus on the availability of resources to achieve the objectives. The training differs depending on its nature and the required level of training for the employees.
The in-service training or also known as workforce development is training provided by an agency or organization for the individuals or employees to enhance their effectiveness in the present assignment (Department of Human Resources Development). The in-service training prepares the employees for the future assignments using the available resources and facilities. A successful training has several factors that include the facilities and the methods. Moreover, it depends on the desired educational system which determines the result of a training course or program, as per the evaluation of the performance (Zadeh and Zadeh).
On the other hand, an efficient manpower with emphasis on knowledge, skills, and development can lead to the growth of human resources with major influence on the social progress. Particularly, the employees need to be exposed to a form of education that has unique knowledge or definition for new techniques for understanding the business culture and the activities that go with certain businesses. The main purpose of in-service training is to create more manufacturing capacity as well as to enhance performance at the current job position. The training process that involves the systematic acquisition of skills, rules, concepts or attitudes leads to improved performance (Zadeh and Zadeh 224). The in-service training of staff takes different forms to individuals’ diverse capabilities to fit into different levels of staff for the organization. The universities’ technical skills, knowledge, and information are necessary the promotions of the employees in various organizations. The requirements of a workplace can determine the level of training that the employees would require in a bid to enhance the performance of an organization.
An out-service training would be an option to enhance the performance of the employees. It is a form of training offered by the agency or organization to employees to enhance their effectiveness in the present assignment and prepare them for the future assignments using the available resources and facilities (Department of Human Resources Development).The out-service training establishes various policies and procedures that are helpful to the establishment of a number of elements such as formal courses, seminars, or workshops.
There are three objectives of the out-service training. The first objective is to establish and supplement on-campus training activities to allow the institution to obtain training that is vital to any jobs or business. The second objective is to offer support for the on-and off-campus training to avoid costly and needless duplication of effort. The third objective is to integrate out-service training for the personal life. The highest priority is given to out-service training that is significant to job performances. Moreover, it is preferable to schedule the employee-initiated out-service training during non-working hours. The educational leave should be considered a major element in the development of the employees. The students are required to adhere to the set rules in their academics as they are the same rules that will be applicable in the line of business. The out-service training may be proposed by the employee's supervisor since it would help in proper execution of assignments at the place of work.
Learning the fundamentals is a significant part of the higher education. The Management Business Administration training incorporates leadership training so as to expose individuals to knowledge as well as business skills that would attribute to business excellence (Yeaple). MBA training is highly effective on how businesses excel through the education influence and application of major business principles. For example, the trainees are taught on a number of elements that include accounting systems and knowledge on why some outcomes are misleading. In particular, the leaders are trained on how to act considering the stockholders and how the stock market functions based on the managerial perspectives. It shows that the overall instructions in the classes are influenced by the mentors as well as the definitions of the research in the definition of the significance of learning business courses at advanced levels like MBA.
It is necessary to apply the fundamentals of a good MBA training or program. The application demonstrates fundamentals of the business principles through the active participation of the students in the practice of entrepreneurship (Yeaple). Some leaders from the different business show how MBA programs have influenced their business careers. Moreover, the MBA training teaches the students on how to deal with individuals and help them in excelling in their responsibilities. For example, in MBA, leadership training is core and prepares individuals for various leadership responsibilities. It also trains people on how they should participate in exercising motivation and respect for the subordinates (International MBA Institute). It would be pointless for individuals to argue that the MBA degree is pointless for the success of business since everything an individual needs to succeed in the business is acquired during the actual work. It is fortunate for the business people who believe in the power of knowledge for business and are willing to participate in learning through enrolling for MBA.
Conclusion
The skills, knowledge and information to enhance the performance of an organization would be achieved through extensive training of the employees to undertake their responsibility in a more professional manner. The education and training expose the individuals to better ideas and ways of undertaking business activities. Enrollment in various business courses which include advanced levels like MBA would mean exclusive business success for the individuals. Entrepreneurs should enhance their skills or performance with time through the exclusive knowledge that can only be gathered from advanced education.
