The United States is among the world’s leading countries suffering from obesity and diseases associated with unhealthy eating habits. Statistical evidence shows that about 68.8% of all adults Americans are either obese or overweight. Put in perspective, 3 in every 4 men are obese, while 36% of women are estimated to be obese (Croll, Dianne and Mary 196). One of the leading causes of the increasing numbers of obesity is unhealthy eating habits. This is a persuasive essay explaining why Americans should consider eating healthy diets and leading healthy lifestyles.
Eating healthy means taking a balanced diet and exercising regularly to maintain a healthy weight and decrease the prevalence of contracting chronic diseases such as diabetes type 2, heart diseases, cancer, metabolic syndrome, arthritis, depression and blood pressure. Besides, a balanced diet gives tissues and organs proper nutrition to withstand infections, poor performance, and fatigue. More importantly, children exposed from a poor diet may suffer the risk of developmental challenges and deterioration of their academic performance. Ideally, a balanced diet should be rich in vitamins, nutrients, and minerals and low in fats. These nutrients, vitamins, and minerals are found in fruits, vegetables, whole grain meals, proteins and dairy products among others, which are readily available in our retail shops (Willet 534).
Besides, eating healthy and regularly exercises helps reduce the accrual of excess weight, which is necessary for boosting one's immunity, increasing energy levels and boosting cardiovascular health. Further, eating healthy and exercising helps the body stimulates the release of endorphin hormones that are necessary for relaxing and improving one's mood. Ideally, a healthy lifestyle produces a better physique and makes one feel better about their appearance thereby boosting self-esteem and confidence. In the same vein, the short-term effects of eating healthy are that it gives the body increased cognitive function and reduced stress levels (Croll, Dianne and Mary 194).

Europeans have 3 meals a day regularly and Americans consider dinner the most nutritious meal of the day and they often miss breakfast that is not right.
But Americans realize that their weight is more than (more than on 20%). S, the problem of overweighting is an important issue for American and for European. There are many programs which allow reducing the weight as oversizing leads to many problems with health. The main reason to gain the weight was called lack of motion and not balanced eating. Also many respondents gain weight because of stresses as the habit to eat during stresses is very popular among all people.
In general people think that it is necessary to have well-balanced nutrition and sport exercises. Diets are not a way out as they have less vitamins and necessary substances, people need to eat correctly, regularly, avoiding too much fat, sweets and gas drinks.
It becomes clear that American have a necessity to mix a regime and physical exercises, which will not be harmful for health and helps to lose weight. Adults in the USA eat after dinner very often and it is very bad for shape as all food we eat at night before sleep is on our hips and belly. It is because Americans have dinner early and they want to eat after that. If to compare the results nowadays and 5 years ago it is clear that the numbers of meals together with the whole family reduces in 5 times. It means that people are busy and do not have time for normal mean. They are always in a hurry and eat fast food without even leaving their cars that influences their weight terribly.
Approximately, the half of adults in the USA does sport exercises. Dinner for Americans is the most important meal. They try to eat healthy food for dinner as they have time to have it at home or restaurant without any hurry and it is possible to cook something healthy, not fast food.
But it is also necessary to reduce the amount of sweets, fats and oil to lose weight. It is better to eat more fruit and vegetables. Many people think that milk and nuts re useful or health, but it is wrong, they contain too many calories and lead to weight gaining.
Because of modern rhythm of life, it is supposed that in 5 years the problem of oversizing will be bigger.
Nearly a half of American adults tried to lose their weight during last 12 months. They used different methods. The most popular ones re: physical exercises, different diets. They tried to eat more fruit and vegetables. Thanks to this problem, many people organize a successful business, helping people to lose weight. They are honest people who are really good specialist in the sphere of diets but there are many liars and cheaters.
It is better to consult with the doctor if you want to lose some weight. The most popular diets, which were used by American during last 12 months are: Atkins, Weight Watchers, Trennkost, Mediterranean and vegetables diet.
It is said that the problem of overweight in the USA is caused by their so called famous prosperity, written on the face of every American.
It is a great worry that Americans become bigger and bigger, fatter and fatter. All speeches of American presidents have the aim to calm down the population, to convince them in the prosperity of nation, but the situation is much worse that people can imagine. The result of such propaganda is millions of lazy bodies, sitting in front of TV sets, eating pizza. Another big problem of Americans is their great love to fast-food.
The portions are gigantic and the stomach becomes big and needs more and more food. There was an experiment and it was found out that an ordinary person with a normal weight after having eating fast-food every day gained 18 extra kilos. All is possible if you have a desire.
There is a great propaganda in the USA to eat properly, to reduce fast food and sweets and to do sport exercises. Sport clubs have great popularity. If American nation does not stop their way of life, the nation will sink in fat. American nation is really puzzled what to do to be healthy and strong. There are so many TV shows where fat people become thin and beautiful, because they are treated by specialists, eating healthy food and training a lot in the gym. It proves that balanced food and sport can make wonders. Parents should to teach their children to follow principles and rules of healthy food and to have an active way of life.
In conclusion it is possible to say, that prosperity and wellness of the country does not supply people a happy life without any problems and diseases. More money means more problems. Our modern life demands a lot of time and people are always in a hurry that leads to the health problems. Our health is the most important thing and it is necessary to take car about it and to lead a health way of life even in our crazy rhythm. It is necessary to find time to normal meal even if you are in a hurry and to eat often. It is necessary to have breakfast and lunch and dinner has to be not very late. Sport is also very important and our body needs physical exercises to have more energy, to be in a good shape and not to gain weight. These are golden rules for every person who wants to be strong, healthy and full of energy in our modern society. Our active life sometimes always tricks with us and our body that is why there is no reason to be lazy and to forget about your body.
