Technically, a dance can be defined as the art of having a series of relocations of the body that match the speed and rhythm of a piece of music. It can be both an acrobatic and an artistic performance on the verge of specific intention. Contemporary dance has been my portion of the music-dance industry; I have loved contemporary ballet, as it is known in the modern society. In this dance, the body swings to various rhythms of song. This dance style is normally full of acrobatic movements. Floor works serve the sweetest bit of this dance. Your leg is turned into shapes that help merge the rhythm to the floor action. You twist your hip, your belly, and the whole body to interact with the floor surface. You may find yourself in various shapes in the course of this dance. It is much more of an acrobatic action.
This dance is one of the most easily adoptable dancing styles. I began dancing as a young teenager when I join the local band in our community. It took me a good time monitoring how the "Music is alive band" used to dance. One evening, a band member watched me look at them passionately and introduced me to the band. I then learnt the dance through their training sessions. I specifically loved the acrobatic movements in the dance. I would keep training myself on how to twist my hips and waist to the floor as I maneuver my body keenly to the any musical rhythm I could hear in the surrounding. And actually that was the only way one would get better and better in the dance. It required a lot of flexibility and free body movements.
Contemporary ballet is a flexible dance that communicates a lot in the communal context. It is normally open to both men and women in the society. It serves as the central core in audience entertainment in community activities. This dance was specifically unique to me because of the meanders in the body movement. Inclusion is open to all genders, but ladies play much of the ballet floor interactions. It can be compared to the classical ballet, which has a variety of similarity though used more of narrations. It also involves much balance of symmetry and graceful flow of movements.
