Leadership Traits Summary
I order to change the face of leadership in a company and how operations are handled, Judy McGrath, the chairperson of MTV networks in an environment where they would want to keep the hip in a first changing digital world and she is up to the challenge. She demonstrates a high level of creativity that nurtures employees and is out of the traditional system of leadership. The traditional system was static and did not appreciate change. He focuses on empowering the employees, accepting their views, and developing a superior network for the company to tackle the challenges (Jones & George, 2013).
Judy manages to do this with her effective leadership style. She has to influence the workers to attain the goals of the family in the workplace. It is her personal leadership style which most managers have been a facing a challenge. Another aspect of leadership is ethics in the workplace. Leaders are expected to have order and standards in all they do. It includes commitment, handling cross cultures from the different parts of the world.
Legitimate power of a leader which is both coercive and expertise which will empower the manager to work smartly is also in explained. In the same capacity, they will show trait models, contingency, and combine all their energy to cause transformation in the industry. It will stimulate the employees and more so when they are dealt with intellectually. It distinguishes between transformational and transitional last is the effective team management which takes care of the seniors and the juniors in the industry. It will be competitive enough to handle the competitive levels that other companies have in the industry (Jones & George, 2013).
Most leaders across the board practice these traits to treat customers, manage their operations and yield results. This leadership methodology is the current trend that the world is seeking to adapt to effect change.
