Business communication
During the last summer, I attended a seminar for all immediate graduates that had been organized by a collaboration of public and private companies at our institution. The workshop’s theme was “Bridging the gap between knowledge and experience." The key objective of the seminar was to educate prospective employees on leadership skills, entrepreneurial skills, etiquette, innovation and financial management skills. During the refreshment session, I interacted with many attendants among them Frank, who is your close associate. He informed me a lot about your company and the activities that are undertaken in the company. Additionally, he motivated me that my proficiency will augur well with your organization’s endeavors. Specifically, he noted that my expertise in emotional intelligence and accommodative approach in coordinating people and solving conflict will supplement your administrative and human resource functions. I will be privileged if you deem worth my selfless, creative and unmonitored expertise to contribute in your company's endeavors to serve your current and prospective clients with quality products and services.
I am equipped with several reputable theoretical and practical skills that include:
Capacity building: over the past two years, I have been specializing on a behavioral field research to understand the factors that deter employees, students and entrepreneurs fro realizing their personal goals and company targets. The results revealed that the key deterring factor was the lack of incentives and capital. As a result, I developed a program dubbed “self-actualization” that has been engaging employees from different sectors to associate with each other on the best approach to improve their creativity and self-esteem in their workplaces.
Creative and entrepreneurial ability: I have always utilized the creativity and innovative concepts in my activities to engage with my peers and my colleagues at previous work places. Moreover, I have advanced the goals of the self-actualization program to a non-governmental organization that offers pre-employment skills to fresh graduates and link them to different employment sectors.
Subjective maximizer decision making approach: I have learned to blend my opinions with those of affected parties with intent to attain Pareto optimality in decision making. The quality is essential especially in my career in Human Resources and Administration because it supplements on my collaborative approach in decision making. I operate on the mental slogan dubbed “Every individual’s sentiment is sacrosanct in decision making." The quality will add to the administrative approach in enhancing the implementation of the ethical standards of your Company.
Eloquent and interpersonal communication style: I have upheld the art of effective communication as a bridge to interact with my fellow workmates and other leaders in the society. In my organization, I usually take the leading influence but at the same time exercise delegation to different potential leaders as a strategy to mould their leadership skills. Interpersonal communication style facilitates perfection in verbal and non-verbal manners of communication thus enhancing conveyance of information across all aspects of individuals.
Financial accountability: I am proficient in accounting skills that enable me to determine the cost of hiring, training, provision of incentives and individual workforce marginal return to the company. The skill enhances the assessment of performance appraisal in the workplace.
Timely and result-oriented: My objective has always been to achieve results within a given timeframe. The objective is supplemented by the rational goal to maximize the company’s profit using the minimum value of resources. Learning from mistakes and accepting to change for the better has been the driving force to achieve the intended results. Flexibility and adaptability are the epitome of my endeavor to match the company’s expectations to deliver on equal administrative approach among all stakeholders in the company.
I will selflessly contribute my expertise in the human resource and administration department with a focus on implementing necessary deliverables to achieve the company’s set goals and develop a competitive basis with current rivals and potential entrants.
Sincerely,
