It is therefore to develop a time schedule in which one indicates the expected duties to be done, when to them and how long they take. It is done using the time worksheet which is subdivided in days and hours within which different things are done on those days. The most essential things in my life include personal study and sleep. This takes most of my time with constant hours of six and eight allocated to each daily respectively. The class hours are dictated by lecturers and the attendance which indicated my inability to change this allocation.
Living a healthy life involves allocating time for eating and exercise. This takes up twenty-eight hours of my week with equal hours allocated to each. Having a social life is also essential which includes family and interacting with the outside world through the internet taking seventeen hours. Most of these time allocations reflect my desires as most of the time is allocated to increasing my well-being by studying and having sufficient rest. Time is essential and sleeping for eight hours is healthy but time limiting. This can be reduced to seven hours with the extra hours being allocated to family and friends in a bid to improving my social life. Having eight hours of miscellaneous personal time and one hour to study is a comparison which should be changed. Movies are educative in diverse ways thus this time should be changed to at least four hours in a week with a reduction in personal time to five hours to balance.
My main approach to ensuring I manage my time involves creating an environment that is effective to operate in and to ensure this environment remains constant. This involves getting organized through listing all the days and hours in which I allocate how to use the hours within the hours. Prioritizing on the most essential goals in my life has also assisted in succeeding in time management. This ensures that however the day turns out; the important duties are conducted which includes both studying and sleeping. I have also reduced any cases of procrastination, and delays as this have a manner of affecting the following day’s times allocation. However, areas that require improvement including reducing the study time on weekends to increase on time spent with friends, family and personal hours. This should assist me to relax after a busy week which time is recovered on Monday and Tuesday as these are the days I am mostly active.
Time creating and management can be improving by acquiring positive thoughts on the goals to be achieved daily. Thinking of managing one's time as an achievement and yearning to acquire this daily can highly assist me in controlling my time. I have achieved my initial goal by developing a task sheet, and this can only be improved through positive thinking. It will be achieved by identifying any obstruction that has reduced achievement of my goals and removing it then understanding my personal pattern. This pattern indicates how easily I can sway to the next task without referring to the task sheet. Good deeds should always be rewarded which will be my final step in this approaching as I analyze the successes I have achieved and rewarding myself accordingly.
