Communication Matters and Internal Memo
The Health and More Corporation (HMC) is a health maintenance office (HMO) that specializes in the provision of health insurance and services to its customers e.g., small corporations (with not more than 500 employees) and walk-in clients who avail of services through its various health facilities and offices that are strategically located in city centers near malls. HMC vision is to be the most affordable, accessible and comprehensive health maintenance service provider in their areas of operation that offers holistic health and wellness services to its clients. Since its main business is health services, and as part of its corporate social responsibility, HMC has institutionalized a community service activity that is carried out annually as part of the company’s celebration during its anniversary week – the conduct of a one-day medical and dental mission. With the help of local government units and social services workers, HMC identifies a poor community that shall benefit from its annual outreach program. The one-day activity includes the provision of consultation with HMC’s team of medical and dental experts and practitioners. The pre-listed patients and beneficiaries may also avail of laboratory and diagnostic tests, as well as minor surgical services, dental services and other health improvement and maintenance activities during the event. Through this event, HMC hopes to share for free the expertise of its pool of medical practitioners to those that cannot afford health care by reasons of poverty, disability and inaccessibility of available healthcare due to geographic locations of patients. HMC believes that everyone deserves medical assistance and hopes that they are able to save a life or two during this annual outreach program.
In line with the conduct of the Annual Community Outreach Program through a medical and dental mission which will coincide with this year’s anniversary celebration, we would like to invite you to a strategic planning meeting to be held on Friday, February 19, 2016, 9:00 A.M. at Meeting Room A.
