Problem Statement
Organizational behavior is a key factor that determined the success of any business. The management plays a crucial role in determining the behavior of employees in terms of service delivery (Buchanan &Huczynsk, 1991). Management approaches differ, but their key goals and objectives are almost similar. Management does not only involve managing financial resources, human resources have to be managed effectively (Grint, 2001).
Description of the Action Research Project
Different approaches can be used in getting effective information required to address employees’ behavior in regard to management. The research will involve reviewing previous research and other secondary sources, the findings will be compiled and used in relationship with this research. Involving the employees and the management in different sectors such as the banking and manufacturing sector will give first-hand information. Interviews will be important in getting primary information for as well as compare the information given by management and other employees (Kings & Lawley, 2012).
Rationale for the Proposal
Human beings have different character traits; similarly employees cannot be all equal. There is a need for management to understand the behavior of all the employees and how various actions affect their performance. Employees will not be able to work effectively in a business environment where they do not get the required motivation. Improved business performance can only be achieved when there are tight links and close working relationship between employees and employers.
Hypotheses
The study is expected to provide a guideline on the management behavior towards the junior employees towards effective service delivery. Psychological nature of employees in relation to the approaches used by the management will also be analyzed.
Definition of Important or Relevant Terms
Applied behavior analysis, this refers to approach used when determining the standards and competency of employees. Positive behavior support; this is an approach used in the work place whereby the productive behavior of employees both in management and junior level is developed.
Assumptions
The research is based on various assumption, one of the key assumption is the behavior of junior level employees is highly influenced by the managerial practices. Another key assumption is that that organizations work employees from diverse cultural, social and economic background (Statt, 2000).
