The writer provides an argument about culture differences. He explains the difference between his son and other children. He is trying to demonstrate how the son is being judged because of his difference personality, which is not right. Appreciation for each other’s culture is important in order to understand one another in a community. I agree with him because culture and education if not checked upon could affect one another adversely. Racism may force children to drop out of school. This story urges people to adapt each other’s culture and incorporate them in education to understand the different views of life. This is shown by the caring and truthful tone of the father as he tries to defend the dignity and honor of his son. He is concerned about the future of a child in the school environment and just like any other parent wonders why judgment is being passed so early in life. It makes the audience sympathize and feel bad for judging other people in their life.
TV commercial
My all time TV commercial is Carlton drought beer chase. It shows some brothers celebrating a successful robbery in a pub full of police officials. This commercial is arguing that everyone values his or her lives and fun. They do not drink and drive and they cannot be separated from their beers. Thieves are more afraid of driving when drunk just like the police officers other than being caught by the law enforcers. This is shown by the way they leave their getaway car and opt to run with beers clinched in their hands. They still value fun too as they end up in a cruise of booze. The advertisement achieves the essence of era through humor, which makes it stay in our heads for a long time. The makers of the commercial could have incorporated some outdoor advertisement and a billboard to support the advert in order to reach more audience.
