The name of the application site I chose is Google Drive which is an online storage locker that you can install in your computer; files that are in its folder are synced to online account that can be accessed on tablets, web browser and phones. If you make any change, it will be synced in all your devices that you are using.
Google Drive has applications such as Lucidchart which is an online diagramming and flowchart tool and can also be used with Visio diagrams. There is also DocuSign which helps you get signatures on documents that you stored in Google Drive. Magisto helps you make movies by combining many videos. ASTRO File Manager allows you to search the contents of Google Drive on your Android phone; Trello makes attaching of files to the given tasks in your project simple.
It offers to its users a free online space of 15GB, which is shared by Google+ Photos, Gmail and Google Drive. The software is easy to use because its features are much the same as Microsoft word that most people are familiar. It has all the features Microsoft word has and easy to use.
Google Drive has many advantages. One of the advantages includes device compatibility. This means that one can use any device that connects to the internet to access files in your drive. There is also the integration of documents that are stored in Google Drive can be opened easily in other Google apps. There is a powerful search; one can get their files faster by searching the content using keywords. It also has many disadvantages. One is that it lacks media streaming compared to other services like Dropbox. It is also not possible to edit Google documents when there is no internet connection; Security issue, it is not suitable to be used by governments because its data is confidential. I will be using this software because of its flexibility and many capabilities.
