On January 9, 2007, the first iPhone was introduced to the world. It was a revolution that changed the tastes and needs of the customers who moved from mere phone calls, SMS messaging and simple games on the black & white screens to a device that promised advancement and development of new features. Steve Jobs, a genius marketer, offered a small gadget that included functions of a mobile phone and music player. It was so easy to use that customers could not but like it (Vincent, 2017).
The decade of development and innovations led to issue of iPhone 7, the most recent and flagman model, which goes in line with all needs of the modern time users. Their desires and their needs inspired developers to work harder on innovations. Technological development, penetration of the Internet and its opportunities, emergence and development of the social networks of any kind and other online applications stimulated changes and modifications in the iPhone that made it the most successful cell phone ever sold (Karcz, 2017).
Customer demand was influenced by the need of people to have access to modern technologies as well as by careful and successful marketing that made the brand a synonym for luxurious and successful status in the society. Those who have an iPhone are considered as practical and modern people who are successful in what they do and prefer the convenience in everything. People are wondering about the next innovations that each years’ model claim to have, so they are ready to stay in huge lines on the day of release. In this case, customer demand is shaped by the image and reputation of the brand rather that real value of the device.
