Humans are as different as they come. As much as there are theories to explain human behavior and rationalize actions and inactions, it is often hard to give apt prediction or explanation for what constitutes humanity. The infinite person can be considered as the utopian man. Infinite persons are rare hard to come by. Many people are not endowed with the ability to innovate new ideas hence the acceptability of recycling old ideas.
The actions by humans largely depend on their personality and on the circumstances in which they find themselves. While some people can learn from the past and make good of it, many are oblivious of the past and choose to only live for the moment. This leads to the repetition of actions. Furthermore, some people may learn from the past, but their circumstance makes repeat those past actions either for lack of choice, or because it benefits them in a way.
The concept of Uomo Universal may exist in the mind of the person who believes I themselves and who tries as much as possible to achieve what they set their mind to. However, many factors go into play in the pursuit of dreams and goals, factors which may derail such efforts and often lead to failure. So yes, a Uomo Universal man may exist in the mind and will of an individual but the universe can conspire to make the person fail.
The nature of humanity is complex. What a man can do and what one cannot do are controlled by intricate events and not just will power. Humanity is just as complex as nature is and it is hard to determine what it involves.
