I feel pleased to recommend Thomas to the dentistry school. I am associated with Thomas for a little more than a year now and have known him as disciplined and committed person. He has shadowed me for 75 hours of practice and I can say that he is meticulous and has an eye to detail. I can assure that given the opportunity he can be an asset as he has been to me.
While his association with me I have known that he was involved in few leadership programs in his university (VP, F.L.O.S.S ) and was able to build his own organization recently, “Texas Supporting The Salvation Army.” But that in any way did not impact his work commitment nor did it impact his grade. Thomas is very competent and attentive at his job. For example, after a dental procedure, if asked, he would be able to list out the procedures carried on a patient with reasons. Thomas learned more advanced technologies, used not only at my dental office, also outside it, such as making an impression of a customer for temporary and permanent crown. It is obvious that a dental curriculum is challenging, but I can count on Thomas ability and time management skills. Thomas will be able to handle the coursework with his ethic, discipline, and perseverance that he demonstrated throughout his undergraduate career.
As a person Thomas has left positive impact on whosoever he has worked with and for be it patients or other employees at my office. He is able to connect everyone very well. Thomas is exposed to a variety of people from different background but seldom have I seen him in an uncomfortable situation handling them. Though I am his mentor, I get to learn many things from him.
Despite his busy schedule, Thomas balances his time so she can help anyone. He enjoyed volunteering several food pantries, charity events, and health-care related events. Thomas has a great flair for helping the underprivileged. He was working with nonprofit organizations that serve the underprivileged people with dental health care by hosting large-scale charity events.
I had discussions with Thomas about his future goals in dentistry. I strongly feel that Thomas with his dentist abilities, inclination towards gathering knowledge, his caring nature make him an excellent candidate for dentistry college. He will make a great student at your Dental School. I wish him all the success.
