Quality education is a fundamental right for all. As an institution, the primary objective should be to offer training that assists an individual to cope with the outside world. The experiences that any school system should subject their students to should depict the actual experiences that the outside world has to offer. Different communities are one of the things that the outside world offers and as such dealing with these diverse communities should be one key concept when talking about a quality education system.
Critical thought and knowledge acquisition is another important tool an education system has to offer its students. As a matter of fact, critical thinking and knowledge acquisition are the pillar stone of creating and promoting creative minds and problem solvers. One of the things that enabled me as an individual acquire this particular trait was the fact that the lecturers gave me room to present and work on my ideas. How did the do this? They did this by entrusting tasks to me among other students which included presenting topics that I had to do my research on before it was taught in class. I found this particular way of learning practical because it gave me an opportunity to delve deep into research and see quite some interesting facts which made the learning practice quite fun.
During the presentation process, my courage alongside effective communication developed. Initially, I was not at all a good public speaker, but the multiple chances given to me to present my findings on a topic assisted me in developing my confidence and composure (Koppelman, 2016). Effective communication is a skill developed over time, and in so doing, the audience is in a better position of grasping what you are trying to pass across since their attention has been captured. To cap it all, ethical reasoning can be described as the climax of the entire exercise. At the end of it all, the education system assisted me to become an ethical thinker and not just a mainstream scholar. However, I feel that in the process of learning, the system should also focus on other key areas such as individual interests and talents, temperaments and strong points. Incorporating these aspects is more or less like niche education, and with this, I believe the institution will increase the number of scholars who contribute positively to the world.
