There exist a strong and more elaborate connection between genre writing and the community in general. Furthermore, there are certain issues that largely relate to genre writing that affect a community in a given way or another. As it is known, littering is something that affects communities both directly and indirectly. Therefore, it’s quite acceptable to deduce a clear meaning that genre writing, that is, letters and posters affect the community in several ways. Take for example letter writing, of course letters are written for particular reasons, perhaps to address some important issues in the community.
However, the challenge now comes in their disposal; people are likely to dispose letters anyhow after conceiving the ideas or communication they bring forth. When letters are disposed all over, they become a nuisance in the most basic sense; they pollute the environment and people’s vicinity. Nonetheless, pollution greatly connects to social issues as it affects people’s livelihood. However, littering cannot be solely blamed on letter writing alone; just the same way pollution is caused by letters, posters also does the same. Posters to connects to social issues in two major ways, they are used to relay social information while they also pollute the environment.
As a matter of fact, posters connect to social issues both positively and negatively, they relay valuable information to the community members while also polluting the environment. Letter writing and posters are some of the major genres used in the community; therefore, they must be blamed for littering the environment. The connection comes on the fact that this environment being polluted is also inhabited by human beings. The major reason for the choice of these two genres is that they’re the most common in the society; thus, they are quite practical and easy to understand.
