Mental health problems contain the ones that affect a person’s thinking, feeling and behavior. The most usual mental diseases are depression and anxiety. The National Institute of Mental Health indicates that mental health problems are very common in the United States of America. The National Alliance on Mental Illness shows that one in four adult Americans had mental illnesses in 2013. Approximately 42 million of Americans have anxiety disorders. The mental health first aid act appropriated $20 million for this kind of help. It was designed for teaching staff, students, services personnel and police officers in order to reduce mental illnesses.

3. Case Scenario Four
The Green House Project was designed by Dr. Bill Thomas. It is a new approach completely different from the traditional skilled nursing facilities. First, it is a long-term care as opposed to the traditional facilities. Second, the Green House Project provides elderly people with accommodation with nursing care that is like home for those people. They can take part in the process of preparing food and they can eat whenever they want to and they can also decorate the rooms to their likings. According to Larry Polivka’s findings, the staff of the Green House “were spending more time on direct care”. It is a very good place for people to spend their life.
