A group of people comes to my country one day. They claim to be from the United States of America. They ask me to provide them with help in their revolution against Great Britain. Therefore, I asked them the reason for which they required my help and why I should help them. They in-turn told me that they were asking for help from me since the King of Great Britain and his government were abusing their rights as stated in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution as well. After that, they provide a copy of both documents to me, which I read and decide about my stand on the matter. My final decision was that I would provide necessary help to the Americans.
The assistance that I would provide to them will be from military, to economic and moral support. The military support would be because they do not have enough armies to wage a war against Great Britain’s army. This is because the King sends troops of soldiers to America to harass the people settling there. The troops instead of protecting their people against the merciless savage native Indians, burn people’s houses and kill ruthlessly offenders and innocent people. I also provide them an army since I know the situation they are in now since my country underwent through the same tyrannical rule years ago. Therefore, it was like my obligation to help them in their time of need.
The economic support is to fund their army in case they go to war. War needs a lot of money since, weapons, bullets and food are to be bought. They do not have enough money to fund every part of the revolution. The King has cut off their trade with all other areas of the world. This renders them economically unstable.
Moral support is to encourage them to fight back against oppression by the King and his government since that is what my people did when we faced similar conditions as the Americans. The will to fight back is the main pillar of a revolution.
I would help them since I am the leader of a free nation and I would like the people of America to enjoy liberty. Liberty would enable them practice freely legislative power by controlling judiciary reforms, law making and making right decisions as which the King and government of Great Britain denied them according to the Declaration and Constitution they provided me with. These two documents also show that they will govern themselves in a proper more civilized manner.
Finally, I would also help them to create trade and good friendly ties between us, which will raise both our country’s economic and social standards.
