Arianism is typically considered as a form of Unitarian theology because it puts much stress on the unity of God from the Holy Trinity point of view. The explanation of how three different persons are united in one Godhead is a mystery to most individuals. Arius proclaims that God is unique and self-existence, hence He cannot be compared with God the Son. On the contrary, Nicene Creed teaches about the Trinity with equal existence. Furthermore, gnostic entails seeking a stronger relationship with God that makes every Christian to seek God continuously through a spiritual interaction, for example, prayers (Argyle et al., n.p).
What Eucharist ritual do to relieve a moment in history of religion
Eucharist ritual is the source and form of submission to Christ Jesus as a Christian. Therefore, Holy Eucharist ritual represents Christ himself as a living bread as well as the Passover. It is through the crucifixion of Christ’s body on the cross that salvation of human resulted, and it was followed by the gift of the Holy Spirit. Hence, the focus of Eucharist sacrifice should be a redemption of a human being from sin. Early non-Christian neighbors could confuse Eucharist ritual as cannibalism because they were not in a position to relate bread and win with the actual body and blood of Jesus at the cross. Additionally, they did not believe in Christ (Dewey & Brett 60).
Supreme authority of entire Christendom
The early Christians understood the source of authority as God-given, and they honor every person in the authority specifically, the church leaders. Within the 5th century, for instance, Pope of Rome proclaimed to be a King and that he had the power to lead the entire Christian believers in the whole world (Turner et al., n.p).
The addition of the Holy Spirit that comes from both God the Father and the Son into Nicene Creed by the Western theologians initiated the splitting process. Most of the Eastern theologians were against such addition, and they decided to start their doctrine (Turner et al., n.p). Furthermore, variation in the dates to celebrate Easter also contributed to the splitting process because Eastern Christians celebrated Easter on Passover while Western Christians wanted to celebrate it on a Sunday.
