The workers who are working in a dangerous environment should be assessed and the eye problem which has been on the rise to be addressed. The problem of the workers not wearing eye protection glasses has been the case, and this has resulted in many workers having eye complications. The solution to this issue is making eye protection glasses that are comfortable to employees and are affordable.
Mechanisms of the Task
The task requires making of eye protection glasses that the workers will be comfortable in and be able to afford. With such eye protection glasses, the workers will be able to protect their eyes all the time that they are in the hazardous environment. Cases of eye defect resulting from the dangerous working environment will decrease with an introduction of such protective glasses.
Development Procedures
Research should be done to determine the eyewear that most of the workers would be comfortable. The finding should then be taken to the factories that are involved in manufacturing eye proactive wears. They assess the cost of coming up with the desired eye protective wear. The companies then make sure that they come up with an affordable and comfortable eye protective wears. The glasses are then taken to American National Standard Institute (ANSI) and different standards institute in such countries to assess the quality and durability of the glasses within the eye protective wear. Once the glasses have been approved then the eye protection wear can then be sold to the workers and the every citizen.
Governing Propositions
The government makes policies on prices of the protective wear make them affordable to all employees. Government policies should also stress on the employees in environment hazardous to their eye having the eye protection wears on every time they are at work.
Performance Measures
The effectiveness of the new eyewear should be noted by checking the numbers of the workers who will put them on all the time. The number of the patient that report cases of eye defect should also be reviewed and compared to when the new eye protective wear was not in use. There should be a decrease in the number of such cases.
