Identity is a peculiar character that is distinct to every individual. Every person has got his/her own identity. Indeed, it is important to be identified by particular characteristics. These can be by gender, psychological and personal identity.
Usually the first and the most recognized identity is the gender identity. This is easily recognized by knowing ones gender through the biological characteristics associated with the person. The next easily recognized identity is based on ones profession. Thus, if one is an engineer he/she will develop characteristics which are consistent with the profession. In addition, if the person is an accountant, the identity of this person will be consistent with the accounting profession.
The third way to identify an individual is through the personal identity. Here, one needs to know the habits and behavior characteristics of an individual. Through these characteristics, it will be easy to tell the personality of an individual. That is, one will be able to know whether a person is judging, extrovert or an introvert.
Finally, through the psychological personalities, it can be possible to tell an individual’s personal life. This is because, it tells the persons self esteem, self image and individuality. Therefore, it is easy to tell about an individual’s romantic life.
Therefore, as it is evident above, identity is what makes a person unique. However, the individual’s identity varies from place to place. It also varies depending with the circumstance. Nevertheless, an individual’s identity can be said to be equal to PPSR. This is because, depending with the circumstances, people will demonstrate identities that suit a given situation. Thus, in a meeting of accountants, the in attendance will be very professional.
