There are a lot of reasons why I want to pursue and finish the PsyTech Program being offered in your institution. In the past years, I have been purely involved in the field of Pharmacy. I have obtained my Bachelor of Pharmacy Degree in K.B Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research Center in India.
After studying, I have also been involved in lines of work requiring the intervention of a pharmacy expert. I have worked as a Pharmacy Technician, research assistant and as a Student Intern. In my experience, I have discovered that there is a great need for me to acquire another degree if I am to aim for a career promotion.
Pharmacy is actually linked with Physics. A strong background knowledge and if possible, a degree in physical science could further strengthen and reinforce my knowledge in Pharmacy. Pharmacy does not only talk about drugs; it is actually a branch of health science that is linked with chemical sciences.
There are a lot of factors that could affect the efficacy and efficiency of drugs and some of the most significant factors, based on my experience are physical and environmental factors. In line with this, I am aware that the American Council on Pharmaceutical Education has standard guidelines requiring knowledge in Basic and Physical Sciences such as Physics before. Additionally, the said institution has also observed close links between Pharmacy and Physics.
This led me to the realize that in order for me to excel in my chosen field, I have to study more about Physical Science and I have chosen the PsyTech Program from your institution to achieve that goal. Aside from the Pharmacological Knowledge that I have obtained in my previous degree, Technical Knowledge, which I can obtain from the PsyTech Program, could further enhance my Effectiveness as a Problem Solver and whatever responsibility that may be assigned to me.
