Hilton Worldwide is a public company that started its operations in 1919. The company falls under the hospitality industry. Conrad Hilton founded the organization that currently operates in more than four thousand locations that are spread in over one hundred countries. The company has thirteen brands and Christopher J Nassetta manages them (Jones, Hillier, and Comfort, 33). This paper establishes and discusses how Nassetta started its operations in the hotel industry as well as his first leadership position.
Chris Nassetta became the president and chief executive officer of Hilton Worldwide Holdings in October 2007 (Ferguson, 50). He still holds various titles in leadership and management teams of various hotels and tourism conglomerates such as Hamptons Inns Franchise LLC, Primus Operating LLC, Conrad International (Egypt) resorts corporation, and Embassy Suites (Isla Verde).
This paper focused on the career of Chris Nassetta, who is currently the chief executive officer and president of the Hilton Group of Hotels. It is not clear when his career formally started, as there is limited personal information concerning Nassetta’s public activities (Jones, Hillier, and Comfort, 33). However, it is widely known that he graduated with a degree in commerce from Virginia McIntyre School of Commerce, but the date of his graduations s not provided. Besides founding several organisations, Nassetta has served in leadership and management positions in various establishments (Ferguson, 56). Currently, his scope seems to be limited to the hotel industry. Nevertheless, he has worked in other fields such as real estate agencies, talent companies, and real estate firms. He has also worked for governing institutions.
