My favorite lesson so far in this institution is the speed dating class. This is where we were all given a task to engage in a five minute conversation and get to know each other. I found this lesson interesting and also very important because through the short conversation I was able to know a number of students in the class as well as their likes interests and dislikes. The class also facilitated the start of relationships and friendship among the students.
I have encountered a number of challenges among them being the fact that I am supposed to do assignments every week. I find this very challenging as the assignments takes a lot of my time and I am used to spending quality time with my family and friends. However, I still work on the assignments and I am slowly getting used to completing them in time.
In the course of the semester and the time I have attended the class, I have noticed great improvement in my communication skills and the way I relate with other people. I have also been able to have a wide range of thought concerning the career path I have chosen to take as well as the goals I have in life.
My classmates are from different cultures and backgrounds and this has made me appreciate each one of them as relating with them has led to learning a lot of new things. I have learnt that each person in the class have different goals and aspirations in life. The decision to respect every person has led to a peaceful and fruitful coexistence in the class.
So far I have enjoyed being at ASU and have learnt a lot both academically and in the social aspect through interacting with other students. I would like to learn and achieve more skills that will make me a better placed person in my career by the time I graduate.
