Medical evacuation
The introduction is succinct enough to catch the interest of the readers. It starts with why medical evacuation is important in the field and how it is important to have a continuous treatment of the patients once they have fallen in the field. This is an interesting topic. It is correctly captured in the abstract of the paper and is clearly explained. The author knew how to bring both the historical and technological aspect of this important issue. The author has brought the issue of medical evacuation in the first paragraph and in the second paragraph, brings the issue of information systems and the many programs that are found in this field. Though this is the case, they are choreographed well.
The thesis of the paper is that of approval for use of medical devices in the military agencies. Though the use of medical equipment and devices has been adopted in the military sector, this has not been the case with military agencies and is the purpose of the paper. The author brings out the thesis clearly although it is a sentence of its own. This is not an acceptable standard in most organizations. I do not find this popular and the place of the thesis should be integrated in the last part of the introduction. It should be in the paragraph of the introduction and not an isolated paragraph.
The writer does appeals to the writer through the use of research on the subject matter. This is not the only way in which the writer appeals to the writer as he has some personal information that he uses to stress his point. It makes it clearer.
The draft is clumsy and full of historical literature which makes it hard to get the gist of what the writer really wants to put across. Although this material helps new people in medical field to understand medical evacuation, but I feel the writer went way too far. The writer should reduce the historical content which makes the understanding of the draft harder.
The writer has followed APA citation style to the letter. It has included the surname(s) of the author(s) while citing and has also presented the references in eth correct format.
The writer has made me learn something new in medical field. I had not known the programs that exist in medical evacuation. All along, I have thought that medical evacuation is just the concern of transport people and ambulance service. Little did I know that there is a whole procedure that needs to be followed.
